(Patria) - Traffic is difficult and slow in most of the country. There is packed or slushy snow at most mountain passes, while freezing rain and low temperatures are causing ice, which further complicates traffic.
Traffic is banned for heavy goods vehicles on the Resanovci-Drvar and Bosansko Grahovo-Strmica routes.
Frequent reports of fallen trees on the roadway on the M-18 Srednje-Olovo-Kladanj-Tuzla main road.
Traffic is allowed for vehicles up to 3.5 tons on the Jablanica-Blidinje main road, while traffic is still suspended for vehicles over 3.5 tons.
Long queues of vehicles at the exits from Bosnia and Herzegovina at the border crossings: Kostajnica, Kozarska Dubica, Gradina, Gradiška and Brod. At other border crossings, passenger vehicle traffic is proceeding with delays of up to 30 minutes.
Due to the registration of passengers according to the new system for exiting and entering European Union countries (EES, Entry/Exit System), longer delays at border crossings are possible.
The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. As of December 2, 2025, the Karakaj border crossing is open for all categories of vehicles. Traffic is prohibited for all heavy goods vehicles at the Šepak border crossing.
