Frequent landslides on BiH roads, drivers urged to be cautious

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina are wet or damp, and BIHAMK warns of frequent landslides of soil or rocks.

We appeal to drivers to drive with maximum caution and not to set off without winter equipment.

Due to asphalting works, traffic is suspended today (25.12.) until 5 PM on the regional road Jezero-Šipovo.

Due to works in the Crnaja tunnel on the Konjic-Jablanica road, traffic alternates, one lane, during the day, while traffic is suspended during night hours (11:30 PM to 4:30 AM).

On the main road Jajce-Donji Vakuf, due to works in the Skela tunnel, traffic alternates, one lane, during the day. During night hours (10 PM - 6 AM), traffic is suspended and diverted to the bypass around the tunnel (Metaling factory loop).

Traffic is slower due to works on the following routes: Olovo-Kladanj (Olovske Luke), Jablanica-Mostar (Komadinovo vrelo to Begića i Begovića bridge), Doboj-Gračanica (in Klokotnica), Grude-Ljubuški (at the exit from Grude), and Stolac-Hutovo (in Cerovica).

Increased vehicle traffic is observed at the border crossings entering Bosnia and Herzegovina: Velika Kladuša, Gradina, Bosanska Gradiška, Orašje, and Bosanski Brod.

At other border crossings, waiting times do not exceed 30 minutes.

On the occasion of Catholic Christmas, the transport of explosives is prohibited on the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina until midnight tonight.
