Increased vehicle traffic on roads in BiH: Long queues at border crossings Bosanska Gradiška, Velika Kladuša and Gradina

(Patria) - Traffic on roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina is moving on dry and occasionally wet pavement.

Vehicle traffic towards the south is increased, so there are still queues at the Bradina toll plaza on the A-1 motorway and traffic is slow on the Tarčin-Konjic-Jablanica route. Meteorologists forecast precipitation until the end of the day, so we appeal to drivers to adjust their driving to current conditions and road conditions.

During your journey, be cautious, avoid risky overtaking and always use your seat belt. We remind you that children under 5 years of age must sit in an appropriate car seat.

Due to the holidays, the volume of works is reduced, and at locations with ongoing works, temporary traffic signs have been placed, compliance with which is mandatory.

On the Ključ-Sanski Most main road (at the entrance to Sanski Most), due to ongoing works, traffic is suspended and diverted to bypasses.

Works are also being carried out on the main roads: Tarčin-Konjic (at two locations), Jablanica-Potoci (Donja Jablanica), Tuzla-Kalesija (in the Miljanovci settlement), Kladanj-Vlasenica (Gojsalići), Jelah-Doboj (Kraševo), Dobro Polje-Miljevina, Čevljanovići-Nišići and Bijeljina-Rača, as well as at the roundabout at the entrance to Bosanska Gradiška, and on the M-5 main road on the transit route in Sarajevo (Bistrik-Vraca) and at the northern entrance to Mostar.

Due to damage to the bridge on the Rogatica-Ustiprača main road, traffic is suspended for vehicles over 30 tons, while other vehicles travel alternately, using one lane, with a speed limit of 30 km/h.

Vehicle traffic is increased at the exit from Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Bosanska Gradiška border crossing, and at the Velika Kladuša and Gradina border crossings at the entrance to our country. At other border crossings, passenger vehicles are currently not waiting longer than 30 minutes.

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons maximum permissible mass at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Freight vehicles over 5 tons are redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the GP Šepak crossing.

Due to the international Labour Day holiday on May 1, today and tomorrow (00-24) the transport of explosive materials in Bosnia and Herzegovina is prohibited.
