(Patria) - In the Purtići locality in Žepa, Rogatica municipality, the incomplete remains of at least one victim of the past war were exhumed today. According to information from the Institute for Missing Persons of BiH, the victim was of Bosniak nationality and perished in this area in 1995.
After the exhumation, the remains were transferred to the Public Utility Company "City Cemeteries" Visoko, where forensic medical and criminal-technical processing will be carried out, and bone samples will be taken for DNA analysis to determine the victim's identity.
The exhumation was led by the BiH Prosecutor's Office under the order of the BiH Court.
