In the area of Central Bosnia Canton, fines totaling KM 76,400 were issued during inspections

(Patria) - Inspectors of the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH - Cantonal Tax Office Novi Travnik carried out 41 inspections, so-called actions, in the area of Jajce, Travnik, Novi Travnik, Gornji Vakuf, Bugojno, Kreševo, Kiseljak, Fojnica, and Vitez, covering taxpayers engaged in hospitality, trade, betting, and other service activities.

The subject of the inspections was the verification of compliance with the Law on Fiscal Systems and the employment of undeclared workers.

During the inspections, Tax Administration inspectors discovered 12 undeclared workers, three taxpayers who did not have a fiscal device installed, and 16 taxpayers who did not record turnover through a fiscal device.

Due to the established irregularities: employment of undeclared workers, failure to record turnover through a fiscal device, and the absence of an installed fiscal device, two facilities were sealed and 37 misdemeanor orders were issued with total fines amounting to KM 76,400.00.

The Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH – Cantonal Tax Office Novi Travnik will continue inspection activities to control the legality of taxpayers' operations and prevent the grey economy in the future and calls on taxpayers with established irregularities to align their operations and respect the laws in order to avoid sanctions and unnecessary costs.
