
(Patria) - At the Seona site, Kalampače hamlet, in the Banovići municipality area, the remains of at least one victim of the past war have been exhumed.
According to information available to the Institute for Missing Persons of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the discovered remains most likely belong to a victim of Bosniak nationality killed in 1992 in this area.
The remains were spotted on the ground surface, after which an exhumation was carried out. Upon completion of field activities, the remains were transferred to the Commemorative Center Tuzla, where forensic and forensic-medical processing will be carried out, as well as the collection of bone samples for victim identification through DNA analysis.
The exhumation was carried out under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, by order of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
