Trodden snow and black ice on mountain roads

On some sections in higher areas there is trodden snow, while in lower areas traffic is on wet roads. Due to trodden snow, we single out the roads: Kupres-Šuica, Glamoč-Mrkonjić Grad (Mlinište), Jablanica-Posušje (Blidinje), Bosanski Petrovac-Drvar (Oštrelj), Ključ-Bosanski Petrovac (Lanište), Sarajevo-Rogatica (Romanija) and Trnovo-Foča (Rogoj).  

On other sections in higher mountainous areas we warn of black ice, while in lower areas black ice can be expected on bridges, viaducts and tunnel approaches. We also draw attention to frequent landslides. We appeal to drivers to drive with maximum caution and not to set off without winter equipment.

Due to works in the Crnaja tunnel on the Konjic-Jablanica road, traffic alternates during the day, using one lane, while during the night hours (11:30 PM to 4:30 AM) traffic is suspended.

On the main road Jajce-Donji Vakuf, due to works in the Skela tunnel, traffic alternates during the day, using one lane. During the night hours (10 PM to 6 AM) traffic is suspended and diverted to a bypass around the tunnel (around the Metaling factory).

Traffic is slowed down due to works on the road routes: Olovo-Kladanj (Olovske Luke), Jablanica-Mostar (Komadinovo vrelo to the Begić and Begović bridge), Doboj-Gračanica (in Klokotnica), Grude-Ljubuški (at the exit from Grude) and Stolac-Hutovo (in the village of Cerovica).

Due to an active landslide, on the section of the main road Foča-Goražde (in the village of Filipovići) traffic is slowed down, using one traffic lane.

At border crossings, waiting times do not exceed 30 minutes.

Due to Orthodox Christmas, from today at 12 PM until tomorrow (January 7) at midnight, the transport of explosive materials is prohibited in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
