75 doctors from Osijek applied for a job ad in Sweden in just two days

The Swedish agency Li-Reco for mediation in the employment of medical staff has been active on the Croatian market for only four months. So far, with its help alone, about ten medical professionals have received an offer for a work contract in Sweden, reports the Patria news agency.

-In March, we held a seminar in Osijek and in just two days we interviewed, both live, by phone and via Skype, because not everyone could be in Osijek, about 75 doctors. We have a large number of doctors in our database and now a new wave of interviews and talks is beginning, because during the summer break, from June to September, there was no activity due to annual leave. Medical professionals are contacting us from all over Croatia, as well as from neighboring countries such as Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.

Admittedly, in those cases the process is slightly different, given that these countries are not EU members, so the employment procedure is somewhat longer, but also possible. It is planned to employ more than 50 doctors annually, but we also find jobs for nurses with specializations, said the owner of the company Li-reco, Lidia Bartha.

Li-Reco has been recruiting medical staff from Hungary, Romania and Greece for several years, and has now started cooperation with hospitals in Denmark, writes Glas Slavonije.
