A fire broke out on the hills above Mostar on Saturday evening, visible from most parts of the city. The terrain at the Galac site is inaccessible, so firefighting crews could not approach, but they monitored the situation, writes Bljesak.info, as reported by the Bosnian news agency Patria.
According to estimates, the fire extinguished itself.
However, Sunday was not calm either, as around midday two fires broke out at the Žovnice site, affecting grass and low vegetation. The wind further worsened the situation, and firefighters are on the ground.
