
(Patria) - Incomplete remains of at least two victims of the past war were exhumed today at the Jelovački Potok site in the municipality of Vlasenica.
According to information available to the Institute for Missing Persons of BiH, the remains most likely belong to victims of Bosniak nationality, but information on the victims' identities will only be known with certainty after the analyses are completed.
The remains, along with some clothing and personal items found, will be transferred to the Commemorative Center in Tuzla, where forensic-technical and forensic-medical processing will take place, as well as the collection of bone samples for the purpose of identifying the victims through DNA methods.
The exhumation was carried out under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, and by order of the Court of BiH.
