At the Carnival in Čapljina, a Funeral for Željko K. and Burning of a Hague Judge

ČAPLJINA, (Patria) – During the carnival in Čapljina, a group of young men simulated a funeral for Željko K., alluding to the president of the Democratic Front, Željko Komšić. From the HDZ BiH, Komšić has long been accused of not being a true Croat and of being unable to be a member of the Presidency of BiH on behalf of the Croatian people.

The young men simulated the burial according to Muslim religious customs, alluding to the fact that Komšić has the support of Bosniak voters.

A mock indictment was also staged against a figure symbolizing Hague judge Carmelo Agius, who convicted former leaders of the Croatian Community of Herceg-Bosna for crimes against Bosniaks.

"My comment is only - morbid and sick," said the president of the Democratic Front, Željko Komšić. The Municipal Organization of the DF in Čapljina condemned "the mockery and abuse of religion and religious feelings."
