FIS giant slalom race starts on Jahorina

Today is a big skiing day on Jahorina, the first FIS giant slalom race started at 9 AM on the Skočine slope, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

Tonight is also the final competition for recreational skiers who qualified for the finals during three days of qualifications. The final race will start at 7 PM on the Poljice slope, after which awards will be given to the best-placed competitors.

Tomorrow, the FIS Cup Jahorina 2015 continues with a slalom race, also on the Skočine slope, starting at 9 AM. Around 50 skiers from 13 countries will participate in the FIS races on Jahorina.

The Skočine, Poljice, Ogorjelica six-seater lifts, Poljice, Rajska dolina, Olimpik lifts, and the Poljice baby lift are operational today. Temperature -4. Snow depth 160cm. Visibility excellent. Wind 12m/s.
