Jahorina has 15 cm of snow, artificial snowmaking systems are also operational

The artificial snowmaking system has been operational on the Olympic mountain Jahorina since today, thanks to appropriate temperatures necessary for making artificial snow, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

The current depth of the natural snow cover is 15 cm, reaching up to 20 cm in some places.

If the temperatures remain appropriate in the coming days, OC Jahorina will make maximum efforts to produce artificial snow and create a good base for the natural snow expected in the coming days.

- It is currently difficult to predict when skiing will start on Jahorina. As soon as safe skiing conditions are created on the slopes, OC Jahorina will also activate vertical transport - it was announced.
