28 speed bumps installed in Ilidža, enhancing pedestrian safety

28 "speed bumps" have been installed in the Ilidža municipality around all elementary schools and religious buildings, and rumble strips have been placed at four locations, the Ilidža Municipality announced, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

Rumble strips have been installed near the school in Pejton, on 13. June street, near the former Igman cinema, and on Stari drum street in Kovači.
The main goal of the project is to protect the youngest traffic participants and ensure their safe journey to school – stated the Service for Investments, Development, and Communal Affairs of the Ilidža Municipality.

The value of the investment is 30,000 BAM. The speed bumps were installed by the company Sarajevoputevi d.d., while vertical and horizontal signage and rumble strips were installed by the companies Savico d.o.o. and Sacom d.o.o.
