Two-hour waits at Doljani, Ivanica and Prisika border crossings

According to information gathered from the BiH Border Police, at the Doljani, Ivanica and Prisika border crossings, delays of 1.5 to 2 hours are reported for exiting our country and entering Croatia. We remind drivers that the Gabela Polje border crossing has been temporarily opened as an international border crossing (until October 1st).

At other border crossings, delays are currently no longer than 20 minutes. Due to roadworks in Croatia, the passage of heavy goods vehicles is prohibited at the Brčko-Gunja border crossing.

The Federal Hydrometeorological Institute of BiH has issued a red alert for the entire territory of BiH due to high daily air temperatures, so we from BIHAMK also appeal to drivers to avoid long-distance travel during the day, and if they do travel, we recommend taking more frequent breaks. We especially draw everyone's attention who uses air conditioning in their vehicle to turn it off a few minutes before the end of the journey to prepare for exiting the vehicle.

On the Velika Kladuša-Bihać main road in Donji Purići, traffic will be halted for half an hour with 15-minute intervals for traffic flow between 8 AM and 4 PM due to landmine clearance.

Traffic is slowed down on sections where renovation works are underway and temporary traffic signals have been installed, which must be obeyed. We highlight the following routes: Doboj-Gračanica, Tuzla-Bijeljina, Jajce-Banja Luka, Sarajevo-Kiseljak, Brod na Drini-GP Hum, Bosanski Brod-Odžak and Čapljina-Stolac.*
