Recommendations on behavior during 14 days from the day of entry into the country distributed at the border

The Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the presence of representatives of the World Health Organization, handed over "Recommendations for citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and foreign nationals entering Bosnia and Herzegovina, which should be followed in the period of 14 days from the day of entry into the country" to the BiH Border Police today.

This is a joint activity of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska, the Institute of Public Health of FBiH, and the Department of Health and Other Services of the Government of Brčko District BiH. Namely, after the Council of Ministers made a decision on September 10, 2020, that all foreign nationals can enter BiH if they have a negative PCR test, which potentially increased the number of entries into BiH, the created Recommendations will be a valuable reminder for behavior during the pandemic.

The World Health Organization has printed the recommendations in Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian, and English in 5,000 copies, a total of 20,000 leaflets that the border police will distribute at all entrances to BiH.

The recommendations were handed over on behalf of the Ministry of Civil Affairs by the Head of Office, Davor Bošnjak, and received on behalf of the Border Police by Radiša Samardžija, Head of the Director's Office of the BiH Border Police. The WHO Director in BiH, Dr. Viktor Olsavszky, also attended the handover. This activity is just another proof of joint efforts to prevent the harmful consequences of the Coronavirus, as well as a confirmation of the friendly support of the World Health Organization.
