Increased Vehicle Traffic at Borders Continues

Favorable driving conditions characterize the traffic situation in BiH this morning. Given that warm weather is expected again today, drivers are advised to plan longer journeys for the morning or evening hours, and if traveling during the day, to take frequent breaks, reports the Patria News Agency.

Traffic is slow on sections where renovation works are underway and temporary traffic signals have been installed, the observance of which is mandatory. We highlight the following routes: Doboj-Gračanica, Tuzla-Bijeljina, Jajce-Banja Luka, Sarajevo-Kiseljak, Brod na Drini-GP Hum, Bosanski Brod-Odžak, and Čapljina-Stolac.

On the A-1 highway Zenica-Tarčin and Zvirovići-Bijača, traffic is moving on dry pavement, without extraordinary restrictions.

According to information gathered from the BiH Border Police, there is increased vehicle traffic at the border crossings in the south of our country. Long queues of vehicles have been recorded at GP Doljani, where waiting times to exit our country are currently up to 40 minutes.

For all those intending to vacation in the Dubrovnik region, we continue to recommend using the Čepikuće and Ivanica border crossings, and for those heading towards the Makarska Riviera and further north, we recommend the Zvirići, Bijača, Crveni Grm, and Orahovlje border crossings, where waiting times are significantly shorter. Due to works in Croatia, a ban on traffic for heavy goods vehicles is in effect at GP Brčko-Gunja.
