On Friday prayer throughout BiH: Reis Kavazović called for reciting the Prayer for Rain

The prolonged drought in BiH and the region has brought numerous difficulties to agriculture, springs, streams, and rivers. Upon the recommendation of Reis-ul-ulema Husein-ef. Kavazović, imams and khatibs will recite the Prayer for Rain today, July 24, during the Friday prayer in their mosques with their congregations, reports the Patria News Agency.

Imams and their congregations will ask the Lord of the Worlds to accept their prayers, the prayers of children, women, the elderly, penitents, generous zakat givers, devout fasters, pious people, and to send rain to the parched earth with His mercy towards His creations.

The Prayer for Rain will be recited by all imams and khatibs in the coming days during the Friday prayer and on other suitable occasions as long as the drought persists in our country.
