Top fighters from BiH and the region expected at the "Braća Kadić" Boxing Memorial

On Sunday, October 25, starting at 2:00 PM in the „Ramiz Salčin“ hall in Mojmilo, Sarajevo, the 13th International Memorial Boxing Tournament „Braća Kadić“ will be held, reports the Patria news agency.

The tournament is organized in memory of prominent Bosnian-Herzegovinian boxers and patriots, the brothers Fikret and Safet, who were killed in 1992 defending Sarajevo and our country. The late Fikret was a member of the „Željezničar“ Boxing Club, a champion and national team representative of our former common state, and a multiple winner of international tournaments.

The organizer of this boxing spectacle, which has attracted great attention from fans of the „noble“ art throughout BiH and neighboring countries, is the KBS „Braća Kadić“, and the club's president and tournament director, Rifat Kadić, emphasized that the best BiH fighters will compete at this respectable tournament, and competitors from the region have also announced their arrival.

- We want the tournament to be carried out with high quality and for the spectators in Mojmilo to enjoy good and attractive fights. About sixty competitors will participate, and a large number of young boxing talents from our country and the region will be present. As every year, with the help of our friends, we have secured valuable and attractive prizes, and awards will be given, among others, to the best boxer, best technician, youngest competitor, most combative pair... and the decision on who are the best among the best will be made by a special jury composed of eminent boxing experts - Kadić stated.
