Bosnian Mountains Covered in 1.5 Meters of Snow

Jahorina has received another 20 centimeters of snow since this morning, bringing the current snow cover depth to 1.5 meters. Snow is falling intensely, reports the Patria News Agency.  

The Olympic Center Jahorina expects good attendance for the weekend. 

The winter season in Jahorina will certainly be extended thanks to the new snowfall, which will allow for quality skiing in March as well, with ski passes up to 30% cheaper.

Starting March 9th, the full-day ski pass price will be 22 KM or 11.25 euros, and a 4-hour ski pass will be 18 KM or 9.20 euros. 

Snow is also currently falling on Bjelašnica and Igman. Babin Do has received 20 cm of new snow, while Malo Polje has received 50 cm, according to ZOI 84'.

In Babin Do on Bjelašnica, the BX ski lift, K1 (baby lift), and the three-seater chairlift will be operational today. Night skiing on Bjelašnica is available every day except Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM.

On Malo Polje in Igman, the baby lifts will be in operation, while the cross-country skiing track will be open at Veliko Polje.

The snow depth in Babin Do on Bjelašnica is currently 140 cm, and the temperature is -3°C. The snow cover depth at the summit of Bjelašnica is 258 cm, with a temperature of -8°C.

On Malo Polje in Igman, the current snow depth is 120 cm, and the temperature is -4°C.
