On the 13th anniversary of the first burial in Potočari, The Hague mocked the victims

Nationalist and instigator Vojislav Šešelj has been acquitted, the news of the day in BiH, Croatia, Serbia and the world public, writes the Patria news agency. Reactions to this shameful verdict of the Hague Tribunal and the fiasco of the Prosecution are arriving almost every minute.

From Serbia there are no excessive reactions, but there were when the bloodthirsty Radovan Karadžić was convicted, and Serbian politicians particularly emphasized that it was symbolic that Karadžić's verdict was pronounced on the day of the NATO bombing of Serbia in 1999. But today they are silent... And today, BiH in Srebrenica marks the 13th anniversary of the first funeral for the victims of genocide in Potočari.

Ćamil Duraković, the mayor of Srebrenica, on this painful day, says on this occasion:

- Paradoxically, when Karadžić was being tried, harsh condemnations came from Serbia about how that was the day NATO started bombing Serbia. Today, when The Hague acquitted Šešelj, we in the Memorial Center in Potočari are marking the 13th anniversary of the first funeral for the victims of genocide and the opening of the Memorial Center. Today Serbia is silent and rejoicing, and BiH is silent and seems ashamed – says Duraković.
