Muzur declared 'European Mayor of the Year'

(Patria) - At the 45th solemn award ceremony "European Manager and Personality of the Year", organized by the European Independent Agency for the Selection and Promotion of the Most Successful Business People and Companies, the Mayor of Ilidža, Nermin Muzur, was awarded the special recognition "European Mayor of the Year".



The award relates to the contribution to the development and strengthening of regional cooperation and the rule of law, as well as to the continuous work and results of the work and development of the Municipality of Ilidža, especially regarding business and infrastructure development in the municipality.

- This is a great recognition for my team and me, for our work, but also an obligation to justify it in the coming period - said Muzur.



The European Independent Jury, composed of distinguished European and world managers, scientists and public figures, as well as previous award winners, the European Association of Managers and Euromanager magazine, unanimously decided to award the highest European award to Mayor Muzur.

The jury took into account the enormous merits and contribution of Mayor Muzur, primarily in the successful management and improvement of the municipality during his mandate, encouraging the development of business, infrastructure, in cooperation with other municipalities, and primarily with the citizens of Ilidža.



The ceremony for proclaiming the best of the best in business from the Southeast and Central European region gathered the most prominent leaders from the business world of BiH and the surrounding area, promoting excellence and success in various sectors.

The event was followed by a large number of media outlets with a live TV broadcast.
