Mustabašić presented a letter of thanks to Hadžibajrić for flood assistance

The Mayor of Maglaj Municipality, Mehmed Mustabašić, presented a letter of thanks to the Mayor of Stari Grad Municipality, Ibrahim Hadžibajrić, for assistance and support to the population affected by the floods that hit the city in May, reports Patria agency.

Through the Municipality of Stari Grad, the sister city of Bursa sent humanitarian aid to Maglaj worth approximately BAM 500,000. Employees of the Municipality of Stari Grad, which has strong friendly ties and joint projects with Bursa, delivered aid to Maglaj in the form of food, clothing, furniture, and hygiene products. The city of Bursa sent the city of Maglaj: 157 packages of pasta, 500 blankets, 6,600 pieces of bedding, 101 sofas, 8 canisters each of dish soap and cleaning agents, 30 canisters of laundry detergent, and more.

Otherwise, September 18th marked the Day of the Municipality of Maglaj, and the residents of this municipality are still struggling with the consequences of floods and landslides, writes Patria.
