Muslims worldwide celebrate Eid al-Adha tomorrow, one of the two greatest Muslim holidays, when Muslims offer a sacrifice - qurban - to Almighty Allah, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).
The central Eid celebration in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be held in Sarajevo at the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque. The Eid prayer and sermon will be led by the Rais al-ulama of the Islamic Community in BiH, Husein ef. Kavazović.
The joy of this holiday is especially felt by the youngest, who share the qurban meat among neighbors, and in return receive money or sweets. For this holiday, which lasts for four days, Muslims wear their finest clothes, and women decorate their homes and yards. This custom is particularly prominent in Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially in Sarajevo's neighborhoods.
