Masculinity on Stage Again in Sarajevo!

The play "Masculinity" by E8 Center and BITEF Theatre from Belgrade, which deals with the issue of masculinity here and today, has attracted great attention from the local audience with the way the topic was addressed and the actors who brought their life stories into the play, reports the Patria News Agency.  

Since tickets were in high demand at the premiere of "Masculinity", the first performance outside of Serbia in 2015 will be in Sarajevo, on February 3rd at 8 PM at the Chamber Theatre.  

"Masculinity" is a theatrical documentary about masculinity here and today, developed within the framework of the "Be a Man" project during 5 months of work. The play is a co-production of E8 Center and Bitef Theatre.

The main theme of the play "Masculinity" is how masculinity is treated, or rather formed, in our culture.

Seven young men. Seven views of the world and a thousand situations they see in that world. On stage, their task is not to be someone else, but to show how they see themselves and all the other people they are surrounded by.
