Man robbed a gas station, while a woman drove the getaway car

On March 10, 2015, at around 1:30 AM, the V Police Department was notified by citizens that in Nova Cesta Street, Vogošća municipality, an unknown person committed the criminal offense of robbery against employees at the “Energopetrol” gas station, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

- On that occasion, the unknown person, threatening with a knife, stole a certain amount of money, and then fled in an unknown direction in a passenger motor vehicle of the brand “Fiat”, driven by an unknown female person. Working on the investigation of the said criminal offense, police officers stopped a passenger motor vehicle of the brand “Fiat”, registration plates E72-J-641, in Safeta Zajke Street, Novi Grad Sarajevo municipality, driven by driver Š.E., born in 1974 in Sarajevo, where she resides. She was deprived of liberty on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense under Article 33, in conjunction with Article 289 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Aiding in the commission of the criminal offense of robbery).

Continuing further work, police officers of the V Police Department found and deprived of liberty S.E., born in 1973 in Sokolac, residing in Sarajevo, on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense under Article 289 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Robbery).

During the search of the said vehicle, as well as a personal search of the said persons, the following was found and seized: one knife, a certain amount of money originating from the committed criminal offense, and clothing used during the commission of the criminal offense.

During the criminal investigation, S.E. confessed that on February 22, 2015, at 6:10 AM, threatening with a knife, he committed the criminal offense of robbery against an employee at the “Proming” gas station, Džemala Bijedića Street, Novi Grad Sarajevo municipality. On the same day, S.E. and Š.E. will be handed over, along with a report on the committed criminal offenses, to the competent prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo.

Incidentally, this gas station has been targeted by robbers several times before.
