SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Journalist and publicist Nedžad Latić was attacked today in the Sarajevo settlement of Otoka, after leaving the mosque. He sustained head injuries and was transported to the University Clinical Center Sarajevo (KCUS).
Latić said he was attacked by a man who was also with him in the mosque, and believes he was provoked by his writings.
Latić is one of the sharper critics of politics in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In his articles, he often criticizes the work of the Islamic Community as well. He publishes columns on the portal The Bosnia Times, which he also edits.
