Man and woman under MUP KS supervision

SARAJEVO, EAST SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Sarajevo police have placed under supervision two individuals, a man and a woman, whose car with Montenegrin plates was intercepted today near the US Embassy building. These individuals are still at the premises of the MUP KS, awaiting investigators from the MUP RS, i.e., the East Sarajevo Police Administration, who will decide whether to take the individuals under their jurisdiction, it was confirmed for Patria from the MUP KS.

The operation was carried out following the murder of Miloš Ostojić (1989) last night in front of the Sparta cafe in East Sarajevo. The MUP RS contacted the MUP of Sarajevo Canton and requested assistance in finding the suspicious vehicle and individuals who are suspected of being connected to the brutal murder of Ostojić. The young man was shot with a firearm around 11:05 PM when he left the Sparta cafe and died somewhat later in the hospital.

The MUP RS announced this morning that police officers of the Directorate for Organized and Serious Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska, in cooperation with the East Sarajevo Police Administration, and under the supervision of a prosecutor from the Republican Public Prosecutor's Office of the Republika Srpska, are undertaking operational and investigative measures and actions to shed light on all circumstances and determine the identity of the person who committed the criminal offense of "Aggravated Murder" of the individual with initials M.O. (1989) from East Sarajevo last night.
