Dženan Mušinbegović, a miner from the Breza brown coal mine, has been going to Zenica and standing in front of the Raspotočje pit of RMU Zenica since the accident occurred in the pit, writes the Patria news agency.
He says he is in front of the pit again today. Yesterday he waited for the colleagues who survived, and today he wants to pay tribute to the deceased and be with their families.
- Yesterday morning, when nothing was known yet, I was on the first shift. I stood in front of the pit and didn't want to go down. But, one must work. When I finished my shift, I went to Zenica. My thoughts were with the unfortunate fellow miners throughout this agony – says Mušinbegović.
He further recounts that his blood runs cold from the sobbing and sadness that prevails in front of the Raspotočje pit.
- The scene is terrible, especially today. There are cars that will take the bodies. I wish patience to the families, and to my colleagues, a final good luck on their journey to a better world – added Mušinbegović.
