Murphy and Čović on reform laws and preserving BiH institutions

(Patria) - US Ambassador to BiH Michael Murphy spoke today with HDZ BiH leader Dragan Čović.

On this occasion, Murphy emphasized the importance of BiH adopting reform laws that are fully in line with European standards.

He also assessed the preservation of BiH institutions, which are necessary to ensure a better future for BiH citizens, as important.

"We discussed the need to respect the Dayton Peace Agreement as well as state-level institutions, and to adopt reform laws that are fully in line with European and international standards for democracy, rule of law, and economic growth," Murphy stated, as announced by the US Embassy on social network X.

The US Ambassador also emphasized the need to make an effort to improve the atmosphere of tolerance, flexibility, and understanding in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
