Muriz hasn't tired, and neither have we

Not a single letter of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office indictment in the Dženan Memić case is true, said the father of the murdered young man, Muriz Memić, after the second acquittal of Ljubo and Bekrija Seferović. The Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office announced that they will file an appeal with the Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Memić also sought a meeting with Chief Prosecutor Sabina Sarajlija today, but she did not receive him. 

The court proceedings, which have entered their fourth year, are based on a false indictment. Some judge had to confirm such a false indictment, and it was defended by the then Chief Prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton, Dalida Burzić, and ten prosecutors in two court proceedings. In the meantime, several prosecutors, as well as Burzić, have left the Sarajevo Prosecutor's Office. Some have become state prosecutors, some have become lawyers, and Burzić was appointed a judge of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the midst of a disciplinary proceeding. From the position of Chief Prosecutor, Burzić held a press conference during the court proceedings in the Memić case, stating that "this Prosecutor's Office has gone astray in the legal qualification of the offense." For Dalida Burzić, the death of a young man is a wandering in legal qualification. She should have been held disciplinarily responsible even then. 

The father of the murdered Dženan has been fighting for the truth about his child's death for years. Despite the eyewitness Alisa Mutap, the Memić family's agony has lasted for four years. 
Two traffic expert reports were enough for the Court Panel to fully believe the experts who determined that there is no evidence that a traffic accident even occurred on the night of February 8, 2016, let alone one in which Dženan Memić was allegedly injured.

He was MURDERED. WITH A BLUNT OBJECT. This is also stated in the first autopsy report by Hamza Žujo. By whose order was it adjusted six times, who concealed it and for whose interests, destroyed it, planted evidence are just some of the questions that Dalida Burzić and the then police commissioner Vahid Ćosić, as well as his successor Mevludin Halilović, can answer. 

It has never been recorded in the Bosnian judiciary that a traffic accident case was represented by, now literally, more than ten prosecutors. Something is seriously wrong with that indictment. This is also clear to the Court Panel, which itself noticed the contradictions in the indictment and warned prosecutor Sead Kreštalica. The Prosecutor's Office's attitude towards this case is also shown by the example that the closing statement was read by a prosecutor who had never appeared in this case before. The prosecutor, whose name we didn't even remember, read the prosecutors' construction breathlessly.

Did the Prosecutor's Office, as Muriz Memić says, wait for him to get tired and for their false indictment to eventually pass? Did the Prosecutor's Office wait for everyone to get tired of the Memić case? Did it wait for the media to stop covering this family's tragedy? But they made a mistake in one step. This is not Muriz Memić's fight, this is not the tragedy of one family, but the tragedy of all of us who could find ourselves as targets of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office tomorrow. 

What kind of people work in the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office that they have been tormenting the family, father, mother, sister, relatives, the public, all people following this case for four years. 

The truth is that the Memić case will be recorded in the history of the Bosnian judiciary, and for several reasons. Firstly, for the honorable fight of a father for the truth about his child's death, and secondly, for a disturbed system run by disturbed people, in which the system is against the victim. Because how else can one explain a false indictment, false evidence, destroyed evidence, animosity towards the family if there was no intention to ever discover the perpetrator of Dženan Memić's murder. 

And that it is not just madness that has gripped the Sarajevo Prosecutor's Office is also shown by the HJPC, which, in the midst of a disciplinary proceeding or as the head of the HJPC, Milan Tegeltija, better known from the "Potkivanje" affair, stated after the outcome known to him, appointed Burzić as a judge of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. How is it possible that on the same day they are supposed to appoint her, they already know the decision of the disciplinary commission. 

And as the hero father said today - it is time for the State Prosecutor's Office to start arresting the gang.
