
(Patria) - Police officers of the RS MoI completed an anti-sabotage inspection last night of 87 central and regional elementary school facilities in the Banja Luka, Doboj, and Zvornik areas, acting on reports that messages claiming explosive devices were placed in their premises arrived at the email addresses of these institutions, the MoI announced.
"The claims in the report were not confirmed after members of the Banja Luka Police Administration inspected 54 facilities in accordance with the Instructions on the actions of MoI members in case of a threat of a placed explosive device or some other dangerous means, the Doboj Police Administration inspected 28, and members of the Zvornik Police Administration inspected five school facilities and the facility of the Zvornik City Administration, which also received the said email," the statement said.
The district prosecutor's offices in Banja Luka, Doboj, and Bijeljina were informed of the incident.
"In the investigation, aimed at identifying the perpetrator of the said criminal offense, in addition to members of the Banja Luka, Doboj, and Zvornik Police Administrations, police officers of the High-Tech Crime Unit of the Criminal Police Administration of the RS MoI are also involved," the MoI stated.
