RS MUP issues call for SIPA employees from RS to submit takeover requests

(Patria) - The Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska, in accordance with the Law on Non-Application of Laws and Prohibition of Acting of Unconstitutional Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Decree on the Procedure for Taking Over Workers from Republika Srpska Employed in the State Investigation and Protection Agency adopted by the Government of Republika Srpska, calls on SIPA workers from Republika Srpska to submit a takeover request to the nearest police station of the RS MUP, it was announced today on the RS MUP website.

"They will be immediately taken over and become members of the Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska by establishing an employment relationship," the statement said.

According to data provided by SIPA to Patria at the end of December 2024, there were 743 employees.

The national structure in SIPA in mid-2024, out of 739 employees, looked like this: Serbs 307, Bosniaks 304, Croats 128, while at the end of December they refused to provide data on the national structure.

Of the total number of employees, more than 500 are police officers.

The headquarters of SIPA is in Lukavica, and today all employees, as well as SIPA Director Darko Ćulum, came to work.
