KS Ministry of Interior on the ground: For whom is the movement ban from Ilidža to Baščaršija

The Operational Staff of the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of Sarajevo Canton adopted the Decision on declaring the Second Episode "Warning" of increased concentrations of pollutants in the air in Sarajevo Canton. Within the ordered measures, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton will undertake activities within its jurisdiction.

- Ban on car movement (on the route Baščaršija - Ilidža, in both directions), whose gasoline engines have a standard lower than EURO 1 or diesel engines with a standard lower than EURO 3, with increased controls by police officers. This does not apply to vehicles of the police, inspection, ministry of defense, public city transport, public utility companies, vehicles with diplomatic plates, and emergency vehicles.

- Traffic ban for freight motor vehicles with a maximum permissible mass exceeding 3.5 tons on the main city longitudinal route on the section Baščaršija - Nedžarići (in both directions), with traffic diversion to alternative routes. This does not apply to emergency vehicles and delivery vehicles for food products.

Technical regulation and diversion of traffic to alternative routes during the ban will be carried out by temporary traffic signals and equipment, signs, and orders given by police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.
