Muharemović: Luck left us when we needed it most

Sarajevo's Olimpic bid farewell to the Europa League, and the Wolves did not disappoint, remaining unbeaten in the two-legged tie against the favored Spartak, but in their European debut they were stopped at the first hurdle, reports the Patria news agency.

After the first match in Sarajevo ended without a winner (1:1), there was no winner in the second match in the return leg either, but the Slovak team advanced to the second round, thanks to an away goal.

Veldin Muharemović, Olimpic's footballer, spoke out last night, saying he could not help but write a few words.

- Luck left us when we needed it most, as my good friend would say: Who knows why that is good! And it is so, it is good to know what kind of guys and crew I have beside me, they showed how much courage they have, I know that next year we will do great things too! We are on the right track! We played for ourselves, for our families, the city, the country, for our Srebrenica.. We share a common grief that we must share and hope in Allah's mercy and luck when we perhaps least expect it... Hats off to all of you and it is an honor to have you by my side – Muharemović emphasized on social media.
