Mufti Kozlić: Bosniaks must have equal status in society

The Vice-President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, Ramiz Salkić, and the Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees, Adil Osmanović, visited the newly appointed Mufti of Banja Luka, Osman ef. Kozlić, at the mufti's headquarters today, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

On that occasion, they congratulated him on his appointment, and Mufti Kozlić informed Minister Osmanović about the activities of restoring the Ferhat Pasha Mosque (Ferhadija) and expressed the need for the restoration and reconstruction of other religious buildings in the area of the Banja Luka mufti's office, as well as the restoration and reconstruction of the building that houses the headquarters of the Banja Luka mufti's office.

Mufti Kozlić emphasized that the support of officials in government institutions is necessary for creating an environment in which Bosniaks will have an equal status in society and realize their rights in a democratic environment, especially during this holy month of Ramadan.

Osmanović expressed readiness to continue the existing cooperation and provide assistance, in accordance with his capabilities and the capabilities of the Ministry, reports Patria.
