Mufti Dedović: Lakišić harem is a matter of multi-ethnic Mostar

(Patria) - The issue of the Lakišić endowment locality in the central zone of Mostar is not just a religious one, but it also concerns human rights and freedoms, and the realization of the project of multi-ethnic Mostar for which Bosniaks have been and remain committed - stated today the Mufti of Mostar, mr. Salem-ef. Dedović.

Lakišića harem is an endowment locality that has been usurped, and the Islamic Community has been insisting on its return for many years.

In the book "Lakišića harem in the center of Mostar - duration and seizure", which was presented in Mostar a few days ago, the attempts of the Islamic Community to return at least a part of Lakišića harem to its possession are documented.

- I am glad that after the Mostar promotion, which had a great impact in Herzegovina, we will also have a Sarajevo one, so that the public here can learn more about this topic - Dedović said.

The promotion will be held on December 22 in the Gazi Husrev-beg Library in Sarajevo, starting at 1:00 PM. Mufti Dedović spoke about this promotion and other problems faced by Bosniaks in Herzegovina in the show "Aktuelno", which will be broadcast on BIR television on Thursday, December 14 at 8:00 PM.
