Mufti Adilović: This year's "Days of Ajvatovica" event will offer a rich program

(Patria) - This year's religious-cultural event "514th Days of Ajvatovica" will be held from June 14 to 30.
As Travnik Mufti dr. Ahmed-ef. Adilović stated for MINA Agency, the event has been thoroughly prepared and will once again offer a rich program.

"We will offer our visitors many religious, cultural, educational, sports, and humanitarian activities. We hope the event will attract a large number of visitors and that we will all benefit from the planned activities," stated Mufti Adilović.

He also pointed out the significance of this event, as it works to preserve the tradition and identity of the people.

"Through the event, we highlight the importance of and contribute to the preservation of our faith, culture, tradition, identity, and homeland. In the past, there have been, and still are today, attacks on all these values, which is why through Ajvatovica we highlight them and contribute to their preservation and improvement. All of this, of course, is primarily for the generations that come after us, and for their happier future," said Mufti Adilović.

The program for the ceremonial opening of the event is planned for Friday, June 14, 2024, at 7:00 PM at Musalla in Prusac, and the central program will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2024, on the Ajvatovica plateau, starting at 11:00 AM.

Numerous religious activities, book promotions, plays, exhibitions, round tables, forums, sports competitions, and many other activities are planned as part of the event.

Ajvatovica is the largest gathering place for Muslims in Europe and one of the oldest in Bosnia and Herzegovina, deeply rooted in the identity of Bosniaks. Today, it is a meeting place for tens of thousands of Muslims.
