MS&WOOD at the Cologne Fair: Awards for Chair and Table from the Latest Primum Collection 2016 Line

Bosnia and Herzegovina's furniture industry MS&WOOD ("Masters and Wood") received two design awards at this year's furniture fair in Cologne. The jury of the world's most significant furniture fair awarded the design of a chair and table from the latest Primum Collection 2016 line, designed and produced at the furniture factory in Fojnica, which was premiered today at the MS&WOOD stand at this prestigious fair, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The chair and table from the Fojnica-based manufacturer, designed by designer Avdo Avdagić, were awarded in the Iconic Awards: Interior Innovation category.

- This is a great success for the entire BiH furniture industry, Fojnica, and of course our MS&WOOD. We have once again shown the whole world that we are capable of conceiving, designing, and producing furniture of the most demanding standards and the highest price range. This is also the last, third phase of development of our MS&WOOD, because after restructuring from an unpromising wire production into furniture production, then mastering the technological processes and quality that brought us almost one hundred percent export of our furniture to 40 countries around the world, we have successfully completed the third phase of development, which is our own design and production of the highest quality furniture for the domestic and world market. Our award-winning chairs and table are 100% «Create and made in BiH» - said Muhamed Pilav, director of MS&WOOD company on that occasion.

The chairs and table from the Primum collection are a combination of top design, the latest technology, and a sure master's hand. The Iconic Awards: Interior Innovation were awarded by a jury consisting of Barbara Friedrich from the German magazine A&W Architektur & Wohnen Hamburg, Andrej Kupetz, executive director of the German Designers Association Frankfurt am Main, Giulio Ridolfo, designer from Udine - Italy, and Gerhard Wolf, owner of Funktion Möbel from Darmstadt - Germany.

The Cologne fair is considered one of the most significant and largest fairs of its kind in the world, where the most modern designs, materials, and technologies are promoted at the beginning of each year. MS&WOOD is exhibiting this year at its own stand in Hall 2.2, Stand M-026, which features the award-winning chair and table, as well as other furniture from the new Primum Collection 2016 line.
