MS&WOOD: Young engineers and students visit the Wood Fair in Klagenfurt

Bosnian furniture manufacturer MS&WOOD (Masters and Wood) from Fojnica organized a visit to the Wood Processing Industry and Forestry Fair in Klagenfurt for employees and students of the local high school. The group consisted of young engineers and supervisors from this factory, as well as five students who spent the past month working in MS&WOOD's facilities during their holiday work, reports the Patria agency.

- This visit is part of our company's educational program that has been ongoing for several years, through which we aim, among other things, through visits to international fairs, to further train and prepare our current and future employees, young people who are already working or are still in school and doing internships with us, for highly sophisticated wood processing jobs. After visits to fairs in Hanover and Cologne, it was time for the fair in Klagenfurt, which is one of the leading trade fairs for the forestry and wood processing sector in Central and Southeast Europe - said Muhamed Piav, director of MS&WOOD.

“Holzmesse” (Wood Fair) is held every two years, and this year's gathering of foresters and wood processors was divided into two segments: “International Wood Fair” and “Holz&Bau Klagenfurt”.

More than 500 exhibitors from 22 countries presented their range of products and services on 30,000 m2 of exhibition space. Products from the fields of forestry and sawmill technology, bioenergy, logistics, wood construction techniques, joinery, and equipment for carpenters were presented.
