Mourinho already rejected Real's offer, wants Man Utd job?

After being mentioned earlier this month as Louis van Gaal's successor on the Manchester United bench, news has now emerged that Florentino Perez wants to see Mourinho on the Real Madrid bench as soon as possible, although he publicly supported Rafa Benitez recently. At least that's what the English Mirror writes, reports the Patria News Agency.

Also, the Sunday Times states that Mourinho has already rejected Real's offer because he wants to see how the situation unfolds at United, which is reportedly his first choice if the coaching position becomes available due to Van Gaal's potential dismissal. In addition, they write that Real has already offered him a long-term contract to start the job immediately.

However, the "Special One" would reportedly like to take over United in the summer, so Real is not out of the game yet, but then Guardiola also becomes available and can practically choose between City, United, and Chelsea. This would also mean Mourinho would have more competition.

Both Manchester United and Real Madrid are playing below expectations this season. United have already been eliminated from the Champions League, have recorded four consecutive defeats, and are in sixth place in the Premiership.
