Mostar Majorettes participated in the Nice Carnival

Mostar Majorettes participated in one of the world's largest carnivals - the Nice Carnival on the French Riviera, from February 26 to March 2, reports the Patria News Agency.

With this tour, Mostar Majorettes have stylishly begun their 20th birthday celebration and opened the season of this year's major trips.

The spectacle they had the honor of participating in is definitely the biggest carnival they have attended in their 20-year career. Namely, over 1,000 musicians and dancers from all over the world participated in this carnival.

Mostar Majorettes traveled to this carnival with the Zenica Brass Band, and as a team, we blended in excellently. We are glad that in addition to the Croatian Music of Mostar, our closest collaborators, we now have another band with whom we will cooperate.

The carnival officially lasted from February 13 to March 1, and during that period, daytime and evening programs alternated, with around 100,000 visitors at each spectacle.

The main show programs were held at central locations in the very heart of the city.

Rivers of participants, the audience, and enormous sculptures, which are recreated each year specifically for this carnival, flowed through the city streets, the central Promenade des Anglais, and the main Masena square. Particularly impressive is the daytime show called the Flower Parade, where each of the sculptures, some of which are over 10 meters high, is adorned with a truly large number of diverse flowers. The official website of this festival states that there are about 100,000 flowers on them, which costumed artists throw into the audience throughout the show.

- The night show called "Parade of Lights" was truly spectacular for us. Massena Square was completely filled with a river of performers, sculptures illuminated for the occasion, and performers as we passed through the center of the square. On the square itself, the entire spectacle was broadcast live on national television on large screens - they said in a statement.

We traveled on this tour with the senior team, and together with the Zenica Brass Band, we were the only representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina to have ever participated in this carnival, which we are extremely proud of.
