A humanitarian evening titled „Ernese, nisi sam“ was held in the hall of the Croatian Home Herceg Stjepan Kosača in Mostar, organized by the citizens' association "Zajedno za naš grad", writes the Patria news agency.
The aim of this campaign is to raise aid for Ernes Džinović (32) from Mostar, father of a five-year-old girl, who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer several months ago.
- We want to help and all the money will be paid for the treatment of our Ernes. Special thanks to the Patak family living in Sarajevo, Dajana Dangubić from Konjic, our Batko, Donna Ares - a woman hero, Kenan Mačković, our champion Damir Belja, the Mostar Majorettes, the Mo Stars dance group, and I won't list further because I will surely forget someone, says Nermin Mehić, president of the association.
New chemotherapy in two weeks
-Ernes has completed the third cycle of chemotherapy, and according to his family, he now feels excellent. However, Ernes continues his fight against the vicious disease, and a new cycle of chemotherapy is scheduled for two weeks. Each block of chemotherapy costs between 3,100 and 4,600 euros plus treatment costs, the organizers stated.
