Mostar connected by air route to Amman

MOSTAR, (Patria) - After a three-hour flight, the first plane on the Amman (Jordan) – Mostar route, with 35 passengers, landed at Mostar Airport this morning, reports BHRT.

The route will operate until October, every Monday, arriving in Mostar at 8:35 AM and departing from Mostar at 9:20 AM.

Mostar Airport Director Marin Raspudić stated that there were many problems in realizing the air route between Amman and Mostar, mostly due to security reasons, but that the conditions were ultimately met, connecting Mostar with another destination.

G-tour Medjugorje Director Davor Ljubić said that the tourism operator offered Jordanians a seven-day package, including a 4-day stay in Sarajevo and 3 days in Mostar, as well as visits to the most interesting destinations in both cities.

Ljubić added that there are about 2,000 women from Bosnia and Herzegovina living in Jordan who have their families there, so about 15,000 residents of that Asian country have ties to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
