Wet roads, increased risk of landslides

In most of Bosnia and Herzegovina today, traffic is moving on predominantly wet or damp roads. There is an increased risk of landslides on sections passing through cuts, so we urge drivers to drive with maximum caution on all routes and to adjust their driving to road conditions, reports the Patria news agency. 

Due to bridge rehabilitation in the village of Želeća on the M-17 Zenica-Žepče section, traffic is suspended and redirected to a detour through the Rakovica settlement. 

On the M-­16 Jajce-Banja Luka main road at the HE Bočac 2 site, traffic is suspended until 2:00 PM today due to mining works.

Among roads with ongoing works are: the A-1 motorway sections Visoko-Podlugovi  and Sarajevo north-Vlakovo (Reljevo viaduct), then the main roads: Jablanica-Prozor, Doboj-Gračanica and Čelinac-Kotor Varoš, as well as roads in the Mostar area.

According to a notification from the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the Doljani-Metković border crossing, construction works are announced on the Croatian side of the crossing over the next six months. During this time, there is a possibility of slower traffic flow across the said crossing, but without suspensions.  Waiting times at border crossings do not exceed 20 minutes, BIHAMK announced.
