Wet road surface, snow and ice in higher elevations

(Patria) - The road surface is wet on most routes in Bosnia and Herzegovina, while there is occasional snow and ice on sections in higher elevations. Fog and low clouds reduce visibility in valleys and along river courses. BIHAMK also warns of frequent landslides of soil and rocks.

They appeal to drivers to drive with maximum caution on all routes and to maintain a safe distance between vehicles.

We also ask other traffic participants to be careful and to respect all traffic regulations. Do not set off without winter equipment.

Traffic is still suspended on the Jablanica-Blidinje main road due to road damage.

Work is underway on the M-17 main road in Donja Jablanica, at the Komadinovo vrelo location, causing slow traffic, with possible short stoppages.

Due to replacement of expansion joints on the Reljevo viaduct, on the Butila-Sarajevo sjever section of the highway, vehicles are using only one lane in the direction of travel. On the Podlugovi-Visoko section, the overtaking lane is in use due to the installation of noise barriers at the construction site.

Work is underway to replace lighting fixtures on the Klašnice-Šargovac main road (from Prijedorska petlja to Klašnice), so traffic is slow, using one lane, every day between 08:00 and 16:00.

Other roads with ongoing works include the main roads: Husino-Ljubače, Turbe-Nević Polje, Stupari-Živinice, Sanski Most-Vrhpolje, Lepenica-Han Ploča, and Čitluk-Ljubuški.

On the Rogatica-Ustiprača main road, due to bridge damage, vehicles up to 30 tons are using one lane, while traffic is suspended for vehicles over 30 tons.

There are no long delays for passenger vehicles at border crossings.

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum permissible weight at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are being redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing.
