Wet and slippery roads, works on the main roads Konjic-Jablanica-Mostar

(Patria) - Traffic on the roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina is on wet and occasionally slippery roads. Strong winds are creating snowdrifts on the sections: Ripač-Vrtoče, Vrtoče-Bosanski Petrovac, Bosanski Petrovac-Oštrelj-Drvar, Livno-Šuica, Kupres-Šuica, but also in the wider area of Tomislavgrad, Glamoč and Bosanski Grahovo.

On the roads Bosanski Petrovac-Oštrelj-Drvar and Drvar-Bosansko Grahovo, chains are mandatory for heavy goods vehicles.

Due to low temperatures, we draw attention to ice, especially on sections in higher areas where there is occasional packed snow, and in lower areas on bridges, viaducts and tunnel approaches. We appeal to drivers to be careful and to comply with all traffic regulations. Do not set off without appropriate winter equipment.

On the A-1 highway section Podlugovi-Visoko, the overtaking lane is in use due to works on the installation of noise barriers at the construction site.

Due to the construction of a pedestrian path on the main road sections M-18 Husino-Ljubače and M-1.8 Ćehaje-Srebrenik, traffic is slow, one lane, every day (except Sunday) from 7 AM to 5 PM.

Works are also underway on the main roads Konjic-Jablanica-Mostar (near the Crnaja tunnel and at the exit from Jablanica) and Vitina-Ljubuški (on the bridge over the Vrioštica river), and vehicles are moving slowly, one lane, at the construction site.

On the main road Rogatica-Ustiprača, due to bridge damage, vehicles up to 30 tons are driving in one lane, while traffic is suspended for vehicles over 30 tons.

On the main road Jablanica-Blidinje, traffic is still suspended due to road damage.

Due to an active landslide, traffic is interrupted on the regional road Ugljevik-Glavičice, in the village of Ugljevik.

Due to winter driving conditions in Croatia, a ban on traffic for trucks with trailers and semi-trailers is in effect at the Izačić border crossing. Waiting times for passenger vehicles at border crossings are short.

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum permissible weight at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are being redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing. Trucks can travel through the Šepak border crossing from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 10 PM to 6 AM.
