Wet and slippery roads, drive carefully

(Patria) - Due to rain, the roads are wet and slippery, which causes reduced visibility and increased braking distance. Sections passing through cuttings, where there is an increased risk of landslides, pose a particular danger. We highlight the following routes: Sarajevo-Foča, Konjic-Mostar, Bosanski Petrovac-Bihać-Bosanska Krupa, Jajce-Banja Luka, Bugojno-Novi Travnik, Rogatica-Višegrad, and Turbe-Karanovac. Please reduce your speed, maintain a greater distance, and be prepared for sudden braking.

Construction is underway on the Podlugovi-Sarajevo sjever section of the highway, as well as on the main roads: Prozor-Jablanica, Zenica-Žepče (Topčić Polje), Ustikolina-Goražde (Mravinjac), Sarajevo-Pale, Olovo-Semizovac, and Vrhpolje-Ključ.

We remind you that traffic for all vehicles up to 3.5 tons of total mass is allowed on the Jablanica-Blidinje route.

There is an increased risk of landslides on sections passing through cuttings.

There are long queues of vehicles at the border crossings: Gradiška (both directions), Izačić, Gradina, Hum, and Zupci for departures from our country, and at the entrance at the Velika Kladuša and Deleuša border crossings. At other border crossings, waiting times do not exceed 30 minutes. The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons.

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum permissible mass at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing. Trucks can use the Šepak border crossing from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 10 PM to 6 AM (on weekends, they can cross between 10 PM and 6 AM).
