Wet and slippery road, frozen in some areas

(Patria) - This morning, traffic on most roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina is on wet and occasionally slippery roads. Frozen and slippery roads are causing additional difficulties for drivers on the roads in the areas of Kupres, Šuica, Livno, Glamoč, and Bosanski Petrovac. We remind you that winter equipment is mandatory for all vehicle categories.

Traffic is still suspended on the Jablanica-Blidinje main road due to road damage.

Due to the replacement of expansion joints on the Reljevo viaduct, on the Butila-Sarajevo sjever section of the highway, vehicles are using only one lane in the direction of travel. On the Podlugovi-Visoko section, due to the installation of noise barriers, the overtaking lane is in use at the construction site.

Among other roads with ongoing works, we highlight the main roads: Turbe-Nević Polje, Stupari-Živinice, Sanski Most-Vrhpolje, Lepenica-Han Ploča, and Čitluk-Ljubuški.

On the Rogatica-Ustiprača main road, due to bridge damage, vehicles up to 30 tons are using one lane, while traffic is suspended for vehicles over 30 tons.

Due to regular maintenance of equipment in the Salakovac tunnel (M-17 Jablanica-Mostar), traffic is alternating, using one lane, during night hours (from 11 PM to 5 AM).

There are no long delays for passenger vehicles at border crossings.

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum permissible weight at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are being redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing.
