Wet and slippery road, fog reduces visibility in valleys and river flows

(Patria) - Due to heavy rainfall that hit most of Bosnia and Herzegovina last night, traffic is on wet and slippery roads. Rock and landfalls are possible on mountain passes as well as on sections leading through cuttings. Fog and low clouds reduce visibility in valleys and along river flows.

Due to road repair works, traffic on the M-5 Bila-Vitez main road is slow, with alternating traffic.

Due to guardrail repair works along the Zenica-Doboj main road (Donja Vraca-Liješnica section), vehicles will be driving slowly every day (except Sunday) between 9 AM and 5 PM, with alternating traffic. Given that this is a busy section, longer queues of vehicles can be expected in both directions.

Until September 26, due to asphalting, traffic will be suspended from 8 AM to 6 PM on the Priboj-Sapna regional road (Priboj-Rastošnica section). During the suspension, the alternative route is Priboj-Simin Han-Kalesija-Sapna-Goduš-Rastošnica.

Works are underway on the A-1 Podlugovi-Sarajevo sjever highway section, as well as on the main roads: Jablanica-Prozor (Mirci settlement), Semizovac-Olovo, Gacko-Foča (Sastavci) and Jajce-Crna Rijeka.

Due to road repair works on the M-17.5 Jablanica-Blidinje main road (Jablanica-Kosne Luke section), passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons total weight will drive slowly, with alternating traffic every day (except Sunday) between 7 AM and 5:30 PM. Traffic for vehicles over 3.5 tons total weight is still suspended.

At border crossings, waiting times for passenger vehicles are currently no longer than 10 to 30 minutes.

Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. Traffic for vehicles over 5 tons maximum permissible weight is prohibited at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing. Trucks can use the Šepak border crossing from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 10 PM to 6 AM (on weekends, they can cross between 10 PM and 6 AM).
